The last lecture
Een groeiend aantal Amerikaanse universiteiten vraagt hun docenten om een college te geven onder de titel ‘the last lecture’, de laatste les. Vertel maar: wat zou je je studenten écht willen meegeven, gesteld dat dit je laatste college ooit voor je overlijden zou zijn.
Randy Pausch was een van die professoren. Maar dan echt: hij heeft niet lang meer te leven. The Wall Street Journal maakte deze reportage over het college. Veel meer hoef ik er niet over te zeggen. Behalve dan: wat zou jíj een groep studenten willen meegeven?

The so called brick wall that stops people from achieving their goals is only there to show to the world how badly you want to achieve something. It’s what separates you from the other people. I think wel all need to take some more leaps of faith to achieve what we dream of and what we believe in. The brick walls are not there to keep us out.
